TGIF

Bubba, TK and I headed out to Santa Monica after traffic quieted down a bit from the Friday evening commute. Lovin the new wheel.

The goofy sisters...
Some people went a lil camera happy.
I love my BUBBA.
The three of us had a great time walking, looking around and hanging out.

We did have some excitement as just a couple blocks away there was reports of shots fired, 2 people were hit and the gunman is still on the loose last we heard. While we were crossing Ocean from the Pier towards 3rd street we saw at least a dozen cop cars rush past us on the street. Earthquake yesterday, shooting today welcome back to Cali TK.

So... That Just Happened

Last night TK and I needed to make a quick run to the store because I wanted some garlic bread to have with dinner. Very quickly we find what we were looking for and on our way to the checkout line. TK paused to look at a magazine for a moment.

While we were standing in front of a section of the magazines a man comes walking down the aisle and stops. Looks at me like why dont you move. Then a moment later said excuse me I take a step back figuring he saw something in the center part he wanted to look at or pick up. He keeps moving towards me though so I shuffle backwards as quick as I can.

He picks up the front copy of a magazine with 3 models on the cover, says hello ladies and then KISSES the one in the middle! Puts the magazine back gives me a weird look and then continues pushing his shopping cart down another aisle. I looked at TK and said Yea.... that just happened!

Friday night Bubba, TK and I headed up to Dodger Stadium. We got our Dodger Dogs and headed to our seats to watch the Dodgers take on the Rockies
Tommy in his very own section
TK was a bit torn as to who she should be rooting for...
What would an outing be without a fantabulous photo shoot

I said "Science is Good"

Hutch, TK, Donkey and I took a trip up to the CA Science Center. They are having a special exibit where you can pretend to be a CSI. We were assigned a crime scene and had to examine the evidence and come to a conclusion as to what happened. Being a HUGE fan of CSI: I could hardly contain myself!
After we solved the case we walked around all the rest of the rooms, and the boys found some toys to play with. Paul decided to see what hurricane winds felt like.

After the Science Center closed for the day we headed out to the rose gardens to walk around and enjoy the beautiful sights. Tons of flowers were in bloom!

As it was getting close to rush hour we decided it was time to leave and head back to the apartment to come up with a dinner plan and take naps (well some of us took naps...).

Take 2

Since we had so much fun at the first premiere we decided that we would do it all over again the following Tuesday. I don't much care for scary/horror type movies but TK and D were excited so Paul and I decided to go along for the outing.
This was at a different location than the Watchmen so we scoped out the area... was pretty small and easy to find places we could stand to try and get photos. It was way early and we were all just hanging out talking when we saw "Jason" from Friday the 13th. He was so sweet, asking our names and shaking our hands.

While we were still just milling around before the Red Carpet opened up I saw a guy come out of the parking structure with his hoodie on. I caught his eye and thought "huh, that guy looks so familiar" I elbow TK and demand that TIMDB tell me who it is. She took a moment and then freaked saying OTH! Took us a few minutes to remember his characters name. It was the bartender Owen. He ducked into the smoothie shop and I said we cannot pass this up! So, after he ordered and headed towards the door a little TK in her oh so sweet voice asked if we could pretty please get a quick photo and we would be quiet about it so no one else around us would notice. He said sure, chatted for a moment, and then headed back into the parking garage to go upstairs to the 24-hour fitness.
Finally it was time for the Red Carpet...

At this location we weren't allowed to line up along the perimeter, they shoved everyone into a small little area surrounded with ropes like a pigpen! The men there are mostly trying to get autographs so they can sell them and make money, we just wanted them for ourselves. I couldn't take it after a few minutes so I left and went upstairs into the parking garage so I wouldn't be shoved around. TK and D endured the pushing down on ground level. Paul split his time between the two. TK got marked up by the crazy stalkarazzi!

During the movie we went across the street to Borders to get some coffee and sit for awhile.
After the movie let out we were able to get a few photos with some celebs as they were coming out of the theatre.
Then TK, D and I dropped Paul off to pick up his car and jetted back to the apartment. We watched The BL while Paul talked to his bro and drove home. Another very LATE night but was fun times once again.

Watching the Watchmen, and other Celebs

Monday March 2nd 2009 Trisha, David and I headed up to LA to see the Yellow Carpet Premiere of The Watchmen. We walked up and down Hollywood Blvd. for a bit and happened upon The Mentalist which was shooting a scene. We stuck around and watched for awhile and ended up being able to be "extras" walking around on the street while they completed the scene.

Then we headed over and grabbed a bite to eat. We headed down to the front of the Kodak theatre found a great spot and settled in for the long hall. Slowly stars began to show up about 15min. behind schedule. TK did a great job grabbing shots from our vantage point.

Once everyone was inside we decided to walk around and browse since David had never been up to Hollywood Blvd before. The three of us waited around till the movie let out to see if we could catch any additional photos, or autographs. Unfortunately since it was such a major event and it had been raining earlier they had two different exits which means we missed a good portion of celebs leaving. TK did see a few she wanted to get photos with...

It was then time to head home as it was LATE!

BMG!

After seeing waxy people and walking around some of the hotels we headed back to the Hilton to get dressed and eat before heading out to our show for the night.
We went to see the Blue Man Group! SO MUCH FUN! I have not laughed that much in a long time and all of the drumming was amazing. The audience was asked not to take photos during the show so we snapped a quick one before they started. When the show was over we had the opportunity to meet the band. And all of the BMG came out to the lobby to goof around, sign autographs and take photos with anyone who wanted.

Beautiful People

The following day I got up early and went over to iHop to have breakfast with Kelly! It was nice to be able to talk and catch up. Mom got up while I was gone, we then went over to the 1/2 price ticket booth to get show tickets for the afternoon and evening. TK got ready while we were gone and it was off to walk around NY,NY, Piazzo, and Venetian. Mom opted to gamble while TK and I went to Madame Tussuad's. We had a great time hanging with all the waxy people.

'Round Here

After we got settled into the hotel and freshened up a bit we hopped on the monorail and headed to meet up with a friend of TK's who happened to be in Vegas with her man. All of us walked around Cesar's Palace looking at all the fabalous shops. Then we decided to stop by the Bellagio to see their water show. Mom and I were getting hungry by this time so we headed off to Bally's for some dinner while TK and Marie waited for her boy to get done with work. After dinner it was back to the hotel for some slots and drinks.

The Drive

On our way to Vegas it is tradition to stop at the World's Largest Thermometer. So when taking TK to Vegas for the first time of course I had to stop in Baker and take some photos.
