Don't feed the tiger!

So hot, hot, hot! In Baker it read an all time low of 106 in July!

We soon found out it was "mild" temperatures because of lightening storms rolling through

Doyers Game

Hutchie, Leslie, Paul and I went to the ball game on July 15th.

It was 60s Fireworks night (aka Beatles night)

Sadly they got into trouble fast, and never recovered!

Then it was time for the fireworks

We had a great time, too bad the score wasn't in our favor.

We drove up to Santa Cruz for the weekend of the 4th. It was like a mini family reunion up there to celebrate 4 big birthdays. There was lots of walks on the beach, great dinners out, cruising to boardwalk, strolling downtown, reading, and sleeping!

On the 8th of July to celebrate her "I'm not 30 yet birthday" TK and I met up with Autumn and spent the day laughing, watching the parade, laughing, hitting up a ride or two, laughing, watching the fireworks, laughing, eating some ice cream, and laughing!

Feudin'

I don't care if we're "funny" as long as we win money!

I was down in SD when the news broke that Brad might be able to set up an audition for the Family Feud! Once we got an official time slot Amy and I packed up our stuff and headed for the apartment.

The following morning we all woke up and got ourselves ready. The auditions were taking place at a hotel near Universal Studios. There were about 21 families in the room at our time slot. The family had to fill out an application, and then the casting department called up 2 families at a time to do a mock game consisting of 2 survey questions.

Bradley, Amy, Paul, Leslie and myself were about the 5 group asked to come up. We think we did fairly well. We were able to steal points from the other family and when it was our turn we only got two buzzes and swept the board. We were the only family to not get buzzed out. GO US!

If the casting director liked us enough and thought we would do well on stage we will get a postcard in about 2 weeks letting us know. Then we would just wait for a call as to when we would be scheduled.

To celebrate Bradley's birthday we got up early and headed over to Disneyland. First stop Space Mountain.

Job Tate and Jamin Peck came to town to help out at Camp Maranatha... so Hutch and I decided to stop on by to hang with the whole crew.

Although it only lasted 2 days we had a good time at the mini reunion.

We brought Job and Jamin back to our apartment. Job treated us to a delicious meal at Lucille's BBQ. Then Paul and I introduced them to the Wii. So much fun! Come on back any time, we'd love to have you.

Proposal Premiere

After a wedding and Disneyland what else is there to do in SoCal but go to a Hollywood premiere! Paul, Amy, and I took Sally up to see the walk of stars, hand/footprints at Mann and to watch the Red Carpet for the Proposal Premiere.

As Ryan was walking towards our side of the street without thinking I blurted out "Ryan, over here! Can we get a picture, she's from Colorado" Ryan walks over, shrugs his shoulders and says "Who cares, I'm from Vancouver." I said "please shes never been to California can we please get a photo"
