All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.....

Today was a big day for Gizmo: he lost a tooth! He's been real bitey lately. We checked his teeth a few weeks ago and found that he had 4 large fangs in the top of his mouth. Today when we checked them, one side was bleeding. Within 10 minutes or so, the tooth was gone (but to where?). We told him he was getting to be a big boy and that tonight the tooth fairy would leave a treat under his bed. We then realized that 1.) Gizmo doesn't really have a bed. He refuses to use the one we bought for him and he just kind of roams from place to place throughout the night. And 2.) What would a kitty tooth fairy bring? Gizmo doesn't seem to care about money or catnip. Anywho...the boy continues to grow. He seems to big to still be a kitten.

Playtime

He likes to hang out on the couch and stalk, sleep and play. Isn't he just the cutest!

Our family is growing!

Now he just needs a name! Any ideas? So far we've heard (Orange) Julius, Finn, and Ollie. We have to come up with something before "the boy" sticks.

We've enlarged our house by two!

If you look really close you can see a baby fishy. On Friday I was looking at the tank and saw something small floating around and I thought oh no one of our fish died. But to my suprise it was a baby fish swimming around. The following day I was looking for the baby and instead I saw two! Don't know why but I am very excited about it. Hopefully they grow up in to happy healthy fishy's

Valentine's Day pets

After our fishies went Jim Jones on us last week, we had quite a mess to clean up. The filter was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. When we went to the pet store, we found that for just $10 more, we could get a whole new set up with a tank twice as big as the one we had. It was too good to pass up, plus it saved us hours of trying to get our old tank back in working condition. This is a picture of our new tank, complete with air bubble powered spinning wheel. We have 10 new fish and all seem to be happy.
