If I get lost on what to do, I just keep wandering, flipping back and forth between 2 and 3D, as well as pointing at myself with the Wii remote (Tippi's trick). That usually gives me good hints. Oh, and anywhere you see writing on a wall or stone, read it. If you're on the level with a blue platform, there's a sign nearby that tells you you need to press two buttons at once "to make something interesting happen". Press those two buttons while on the blue platform.
You go to the Wii shop channel (if you have wireless hookups) to download the old games.

and is it bad if i am on the 1-3 level and cant figure out how to move on to the next?
also how do you download all the old school games?
