We had a quack-tastic time tonight. Paul and I headed over to a block party that the Eldridge Clan attends. The kids drew on the street with chalk, played with frisbees, footballs, there was a volleyball game going on. Everyone brought a dish to share with each other and everything was delicious.

Once the sun set the fireworks and sparklers came out. All three Askew children with careful supervision got to hold a sparkler or at least see one up close. Everyone in our group had safe and sane fireworks, there were a few people at the far ends of the block with bottle rockets. It is always good to see the entire Eldridge family and catch up.
