We wanted to be with family to ring in 2006. So we drove up to the ALH and played cards, ate yummy desserts and toasted with sparkling cider. The winner of the evening was Jean.
Sadly the night ended a bit early because my in-laws puppy was sick and needed to be taken to the doggy doctor (she passed away a few days later). She will be missed.

How sad! Guess the doggy partied a little too hard.
Seriously though... the death of a pet is a sad way to celebrate the new year.
