Why are you so good? Why do you only come on my tv once a week? Season 3 is by far better than the last two. Although to be fair, I haven't finished season 1 yet.
I have a confession to make: I am starting to wear thin. I still LOVE the show, but I am beyond ready for some resolution. Last night almost jumped the shark for me. Cuse and Lindelof and Abrams have always contended that the survivors are NOT in purgatory, but now there is all this dead-and-in-hell crap. It's nuts.
I think the hell discussion is just something to throw viewers off for a little bit. My little circle of viewers is pretty sure that's not going to be the final explanation. Locke's dad may have thought he was in hell, but where would he go after being murdered in hell? Actually, after seeing eye patch dude come back last week, it wouldn't surprise me if Locke's dad sprung to life again. Heheh.
I think it would make for great tv if they were in hell or purgatory, but I don't think they are. I think that was thrown in there this week just for all the people who seem to think that's it. I don't expect the question of "where are we?" to be answered until the end of the series.
The creators want the show to be about 5 years/100 episodes. ABC is pushing for 7 years. As much as I want it to stick around longer, going beyond what the creators have planned will just mean more pointless episodes like the magic van a few weeks ago.

Last night was good, but the season on a whole is still lackluster.

The biggest thing I want answers on: Smokezilla!

My theory (jokingly): the Bermuda Triangle!
I agree. Awesome season!

The magic van was an awesome episode! And don't count it as pointless until you see what is coming ....
