when i was teaching outdoor school this was a campfire favorite of all the instructors. it wasn't catchy enough for our sixth grade campers, but we would sing it as they were all toddling off to bed.

I'm a big fan of Johnny, but I wasn't that impressed by his cover. Maybe it's just because I like the original so much that any change seems wrong.
I looooove the cover. :) But maybe that's because I knew IT before I knew the original.
