Paul and I spent this past weekend in Idyllwild. I love this place.

Sand Storm

On Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY, Paul and I got up stupid early because I wanted to go out and be a part of the first episode of BL10. We headed to Venice Beach for the taping and a workout with Jillian Michaels. I also took the opportunity to fill out another application to be on the show. I was stoked when I noticed other contestants from past seasons showing up. I tried to grab a photo with all of them as well as Dr. H.

Jillian looking cold as always. I love her sense of humor. I did not love the pushups or mountain climbers in the sand when the wind was creating a sand storm! Also I would like to mention that jumping jacks in the sand can be quite difficult.

Past contestants went up on stage to help Jill with the warm-up.
Three potential contestants for season 10 did a 500 step-up challenge, the first 2 that finished were immediately taken in the limo to the ranch. We all completed this challenge along side them. And for your information I BEAT all three of the potential contestants at the step-ups!

Go Doyers

Paul maxed out his vacation time, so he took an extra day off this week. The boy found some awesome tickets on the Internet for the Dodgers game so off we went. It was USC night so we got these lovely hats in their colors.
The evening was sooooo WINDY and cold!
We thought the wind would give us an interesting game. We. were. wrong! In the first inning the Dodgers walked two and then allowed a triple scoring 2 runs. That was it! The end.

With one out left in the game. The dude below decided to jump onto and run across the field. I was quite amused, the security guards were not.

Over at www.cyndihutchins.blogspot.com I have caught up on all of my fitness activities for the year thus far. My hope is to be more consistent in keeping up with DOING and Blogging regarding my efforts towards a fitter life.

"I threw up in my mouth" - Jillian Michaels 3.10.10

I had the opportunity to go see a taping of the Dr. Phil show today. I am not going to say much because I am pretty sure I signed my life away on that green paper they made me put my signature on.

First off the show was a debate about fat people. One one side they Jillian Michaels, Meme Roth and Micheal Karolchyk and the other Erica Watson, Mary, and one of the heads of NAAFA. ( I have linked an info page to each of the people so you can read about who they are, in case you don't know) In the middle of these two sides was Kelly Osborne. Jillian seemed to think when she walked out on stage that the debate was going to be that the people to her left were saying that being obese was healthy. About 10min. in she looked like she would like to move to the other side of the panel. It was a very intense episode.

The quote at the top of my post was a comment made by Jillian about Mr. Karolchyk, and is also why I am writing this post now as apposed to when this episode airs. Mr. Karolchyk is despicable. I am appalled by his tactics and am quite certain that if someone did to me what he does to his clients I would hall off and knock him out. He created Anti-Gym and his tag line is No Chubbies! This is a Denver based business which he has now expanded to San Diego and soon to LA. I would call him a mental abuser. Here is a little about his gym...
