Hello to everyone who checks this page....this is Brad, nevermind the name at the bottom, its for something else and i'm too lazy to change it at this time. Just wanted to let all family members know that I am doing well and am currently writing this while sitting in my very own office!!!! With a real door!!! no more cubicles for me, i'm moving up in the world. Lately I have been trying to study for my graduate school exams, i have a long way to go...okay thats all for me right now.

A cool thing happened today. One of the boys in the group home got to go home after almost 2 years with us there. It was a total shock to everyone. Even though he and his family have done above and beyond what was required by the court, he was consistently denied the chance to go home due to the nature of his crime. He really has changed a lot and I have no doubt that he will be able to stay out of trouble. He and his family are now active at a large church near their home and have seen their faith strengthened during the 4 years since he was first arrested.

It's days like today that make me continue to go back to work every day in between. It's an unbelievable feeling to see lives changed in this way, to see broken families working together again. I may not get paid much money, but I still wouldn't trade this for a desk job.

Hello everyone this is Cyndi. Well I started school yesterday, not because I wanted to but because I want to graduate. I think it is too soon to go back, I am taking a Children's Literature class. This class is supposed to teach me how to teach little people about reading and to try and show them a love for reading. I like the professor but it is going to be a lot of work. Lucky for me it is only 6 class sessions but unfortunately every class is 7 hours long for 3 weeks. We finally got a night out together this past weekend and went to see "Catch me if you can." in the theatre. It was a great movie. I recomend it to all of you. After the movie we went to the Biola Mens Basketball game, they won. It was an exciting game. We will be going to another game on Tuesday evening. It is a great way to get out but not spend any money. We are finally recovering from Christmas and getting our apartment back to looking normal. I would also like to say congrats to Ric and Jeri on their recent engagement. I guess that is all for now. I hope to read some comments from you all soon. Just drop us a line and tell us how you are doing, or what you are doing. Later.

Sorry for the long time between updates all. I've been working a mix of shifts including lots of graveyards so I've been out of it. Cyndi and I spent New Year's Eve at a house party. The last 2 years I've had to work until 11:30 so we haven't really been together at midnight since we had just started going out so it was nice.

We didn't feel like cooking tonight so we used some Applebee's gift cards that Cyndi's dad sent us for Christmas. Then we stopped by Hollywood Video and rented "Don't Say A Word". So far its kinda weird...not sure if I like it or not.
